edge case: Using Polygon tool and double clicking (on 2nd point), adds a triangle, but with two points exactly on top of each other

After double clicking (on 2nd point) we get a line shape but with 3 points where 2 are superimposed, so its a triangle. Edit: unable to select the shape too after drawing it.
