Does it also happen in the desktop version?

  • [ ] This bug does not occur in the latest version of Anki Desktop

What are the steps to reproduce this bug?

Wake up at 3:00. Change AnkiDroid review settings Start of next day to be only two hours after midnight instead of the default five hours or something. Start reviewing cards in a deck. Each time you review and click Good, notice the red number increases and you're given a new, not seen before, card to learn. The green and blue numbers don't change. This continues forever, providing infinite new cards, far beyond the daily limit of 10.

Expected behaviour

App works as normal.

More specifically "Latest" is not a valid version number, we have at least 2 versions generally accessible to people, the current stable release (2.18.4), the current beta release (2.19beta5) and true "latest" will be built directly from github source after updating it, but even then we make multiple changes a day so we would need to know the exact commit hash at the point in time you built it

Once we know the actual version - included in that "Copy Debug Info" request - then we can start trying to reproduce

If "latest" for you means 2.18.4, you might try the current 2.19beta5 release to see if it is already fixed: https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/releases
