Please update the Trivial Drive Java sample app to use Google Play Billing Library 6

I am working on integrating Google Play Billing Library 6 into my app. I find the UI of the Trivial Drive sample app to be easy to understand, and I would be grateful if the app were updated to Billing Library 6 so that I could use it as a reference.

After reading the google documentation, there is no description of how the mobile app checks the status when the user applies for a refund or suspends the subscription. Live to say that the app cannot detect the status, and you need to build a server to detect it?

Google isn't playing by their own rules: they force everyone onto 2 year version update cycle, yet with their endless money flow they themselves don't have enough resources to keep their samples updated accordingly. I bet these samples don't even have owners inside Google!
