Bump dependencies & fix fstx2 suite

While updating downstream on Alpine Linux to run against the last toolchain, rust's libc needed an update and I stumbled upon a broken master. So I figured that required a fix so I could nag the maintainers to do a new release. For now, I've added a patch on Alpine which uses the newest libc version, but it would be nice if could be patched upstream.
