Overwrite exiting nodes and links when exporting .inp files

When exporting to an epanet .inp file, is it possible to overwrite all of the existing nodes and links in the file?

This would make sense in the case of importing the data from an .inp file, editing it, and then exporting it back, using the original file as a template.

The aim is to add new nodes and links to the existing ones in the template. If duplicate elements are present, an error will occur when opening the .inp file in EPANET, which is expected. To start from scratch, the most convenient approach is to use a network without elements as a template, containing only the configurations.
