Update all the things

This addon was throwing some deprecations and errors in other addons/apps using it, so I wanted to update everything and get it working on modern Ember.

@alexander-alvarez this updates and fixes a lot of things. If you could please approve the workflow, the tests should run.

There is one pesky test failure / issue I am encountering. Still trying to debug it, but this PR almost fully updates all the things 😃
