Is this project dead because it seems pretty inactive. If so I may make a fork.

@adamjimenez This wonderful guy @GedMarc has a fork of this project which he keeps updated, updated for Jquery 3 etc. That is the one I have been using...

The project is not dead, but this branch is frozen as it is for JQuery 2.

The next version of Layout as I understand from Kevin, is that it is Layout 2.0 for JQuery UI 2.x and is currently in development. It is however going through a full cleanup

Hi @GedMarc, any update on this? It's a wonderful library, and thanks for your maintenance of it, but just wondering if there is going to be any more development.

The JQuery 3 branch can be found here https://github.com/GedMarc/layout

It is still very active, and used in libraries such as PrimeFaces, JWebMP and many others. Not dead at all <3

But please make log issues/requests into that repo :) Just updated to JQuery 3.5
