GitHub's API only returns the first 300 file changes and doesn't provide a way to paginate 😢. The only thing I can think to do is read the entire `.diff`...

Let's wait until there's GitHub API that will let us solve this more reasonable.

Given the lack of engagement from other users I'm going to say that there isn't a strong desire from users to add a setting here.
