Feature Request - Alexa notifications

I'd love to be able to set a notification with my Alexa skills using alexa-app. https://developer.amazon.com/public/solutions/alexa/alexa-voice-service/reference/notifications

I could be wrong, but I don't believe this is currently possible? https://forums.developer.amazon.com/questions/79807/how-alexa-skill-produces-a-notification-using-web.html points out that link is the AVS API for implementing your own Alexa-compatible hardware, not sending notifications as a third-party skill.

That said, if I'm totally wrong, a pull request would be gladly accepted! :)

Soon developers will be able to add notifications to their skills to deliver important and relevant information to users. Today, we are working with a handful of companies as part of the private beta for this feature. AccuWeather will provide weather updates, and The Washington Post will provide users breaking news alerts. Notifications for ASK will be available to all skill builders soon in a public beta. Sign up to be notified when the public beta for notifications begins.
