@valyala Thanks for the elaborated answer. I'm not against manual rebalancing, since adding more vmstorage nodes will be usually a manual process, and in case of automating it, running vmctl...

Process.on statement wouldn't be necessary if handleExceptions worked properly. In other words, that is the "patchy" way of handling exceptions, specially when having to flush the transport.

This would be really nice to have. Currently the only alternative, where WSL2 is not feasible, is using Minikube, which at the current version includes Podman v2.
