Hi,

Can you try this?

Download and install python 2.7 and then

npm config set python C:\Python27\python.exe

The problem is that node-sass needs python 2

solved with nodejs:16 and node-sass 6.0.0(I update to this version in package.json)

yarn add node-sass

or

Then:

Same problem with NODE-16 .. Now downgraded to node-12, npm install was successful, but now facing issue in "npm start"

As per solution from @ozzpy , I upgraded to node-sass to 6.0.0 in package.json for node-16, on Mac-M1 chip, npm install worked successfully,

But now facing issue in NPM START "Error: The Angular Compiler requires TypeScript >=4.2.3 and <4.4.0 but 4.6.4 was found instead."

indeed had errors from version 15,16 and up

my node-version : 14.18.2, using NVM for it, switched using "nvm use 14" solution worked for me too and installing node-sass in the project.

In Windowns, If you have another version installed, you could uninstall e type on terminal "nvm use 14.15.0"
