403 if tilda symbol is present in the NS_PATH

The script can't handle NS_PATH such as /401107/mpx/storage/NGS/111/640/150602-hendo-hoverboard-demo-vin~~~~~en~mux~~1.mp4

This is script specific because my other code (java) works with such files on netstorage just fine. This is not permission issue because non-containing tilda file-paths work fine with the credentials.
