Can't seem to get it to install or work without using sudo
When trying to install on OS X Yosemite with Vagrant 1.7.2 I get the following error:
$ vagrant plugin install vagrant-reload
Installing the 'vagrant-reload' plugin. This can take a few minutes...
Bundler, the underlying system Vagrant uses to install plugins,
reported an error. The error is shown below. These errors are usually
caused by misconfigured plugin installations or transient network
issues. The error from Bundler is:

Make sure that `gem install ffi -v '1.9.8'` succeeds before bundling.

I can overcome the error if I use:
sudo vagrant plugin install vagrant-reload
but once I do that, vagrant cannot "see" the plugin during provisioning unless it also do:
sudo vagrant up
and then even then this causes further issues since now the vm is owned by root and the vm had problems sharing folders, etc. Problems seem to just escalate.
Is there a way to install this and make it work without using sudo?
@jimklo I've come to here (from google) for I was having the same issue. I followed as you said with sudo and it worked. For some reason, after executing with sudo, the normal vagrant plugin install vagrant-reload worked fine and vagrant up worked after it without the need of sudoing it.
Just commenting my result here in hope that it may help someone.
