Talm installation script

Open NickVolynkin opened this issue 8 months ago • 4 comments

Make a curl'able installation script that would discover system's architecture and other parameters, and then make an installation.

curl cozystack.io/install.sh | sh

It will be useful when making first installations used for learning, PoC, and other such things where speed is more important than fine-tuning.

@7h3-3mp7y-m4n we spoke in the CNCF Slack, but I didn't answer here then.

Sure, if you're interested, feel free to try. You can always ask the community for advice.

Hi, @NickVolynkin. I'm Dosu, and I'm helping the cozystack team manage their backlog and am marking this issue as stale.

Issue Summary:

  • You requested a curl-installation script for Talm that auto-detects system architecture to simplify quick setups.
  • A newcomer, 7h3-3mp7y-m4n, expressed interest in contributing and you encouraged them to proceed.
  • The contributor acknowledged the task and planned to start working on it.
  • No further updates or progress have been posted recently.

Next Steps:

  • Please let me know if this issue is still relevant to the latest version of the cozystack repository by commenting here.
  • If I don’t hear back within 7 days, I will automatically close this issue.

Thank you for your understanding and contribution!
