Is this still an issue on v2.9.0?

Roughly how many playlists do you have and how big are they? Just rough estimates so I can simulate it.

Updated in [v2.10.1](https://github.com/advplyr/audiobookshelf/releases/tag/v2.10.1) There are still improvements that can be made but they may wait until playlists are switched to the new data model.

Abs uses the GUID as the unique identifier for episodes as per specs. Although, I've never seen an RSS feed use the same GUID twice in the feed, I think...

Have you looked at the full RSS feed to check if the episode is listed twice? You are saying it is replacing it in the feed but I'm not sure...

I'm not able to reproduce this. Can you share a screenshot of the authors in the edit modal? Can you share what version of the server you are on?
