[Enhancement]: Show more episodes on the "Latest" podcast library page
Type of Enhancement
Web Interface/Frontend
Describe the Feature/Enhancement
As traditional podcatchers/podcasts clients, would be nice to show on "last" section all new pordcasts from all subscriptions and don't reset them over the last 24h.
Why would this be helpful?
Sometimes i just forgot to play an episode, and with some days those episodes disappear from the "latest" section, making me to go manually to the podcast profile under "Library" section to find it. Thats how AntennaPod/Pocket Cast and other podcast clients work.
Future Implementation (Screenshot)
Well, instead a 24h limit to reset the "Latest" section, if posible, it could be resetted within a week or "infinite". Would be nice to have a setting for delimite it.
Audiobookshelf Server Version

Current Implementation (Screenshot)
No response
It pulls the 25 most recent episodes
It pulls the 25 most recent episodes
Would be nice to show older podcasts, or at least to be able to configure this max number of episodes to list, or maybe older than XX days like other podcatchers do.
For example on my case, i don't listen podcasts every day because i'm busy, but when i can i just go to "last" section and i can only see those 25 podcasts, missing some which i like which are older than those 25 max :)
Hey! What do you think about the idea? I think it will make podcast listening more productive on "latest" section.
Is it difficult to implement? I'm asking because i tried to red the code but i don't undertand anything. I'm more on the sysadmin side than in the developing one :P
Hello! @advplyr can you considere this please? :D
Hey!! That's a 8 month old issue. Can someone please take a little look at it? I know there are 500+ opened issues, but this feature could make podcast listening a lot better by letting the user to be more up to date with the feeds, for me at least (and probably for the most podcast listeners). I dont' know how difficult could be to implement it, but can someone at least tell if it is doable? Thanks in advance :)
Thank you @advplyr that's a nice approach. But is it possible to let user set what he wants to see?? Like a fixed number to set up or an infinite list like AntennaPod on Pocketcasts does?
Just asking, that could be the best definitive implementation.
Edit: If it's too complex maybe to be able to see last week podcasts could be enough (+- 100 episodes depending on feed entries)
