Describe the Feature/Enhancement

The widget's icon is larger than the widget height, so the image is cropped in both dimensions- horizontal and vertical.

Why would this be helpful?

It's minor, but it would look better.

~~Notification aspect ratio is different in different places on different devices and different android versions so I'm not sure this is possible~~

Correction, I misread the post. With the home screen widget we should be able to handle this better since we can get the size and control how the image is displayed.
