getting cannot find module 'react ' when i run npm start

when i run npm start i get this Error getting cannot find module 'react ' Require stack: - C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\npm\node_modules\react-scripts\scripts\start.js

After downloading and extracting the file ... 1.The first thing you will do is to CD into in the project directory and run "npm install" 2. go into the backed folder too I.e the sanity and run "npm install" too 3. Then run npm start
