Feature Request: manual color additions with locks

While this somewhat flies in the face of the core premise of this tool, I'd like to see if one could define a max dark, max light, and middle color, lock them and then have the tool generate colors between those locked colors that would work with your method. I have some colors that I need to keep the middle tone aligned to a brand color but want to have light and dark steps that are equal in luminance and saturation across the steps.

Im curious to learn more about what you’re lookin for here. By min/max dark & light are you thinking in terms of lightness value, relative luminosity, contrast, etc? How do you expect for the in between colors– even distribution of contrasts, or specific contrasts.

A way that you can “lock” a color (within a single, static theme) is to click “Bulk import” (Box icon) for key colors. Then only import your brand color, and select “import as swatch”. This will retain the hex value of your brand color.
