Thanks for the PR! :) Instead of duplicating the ltcminers.yml file, can we instead reuse the existing ltcminers.yml file, but add configuration variables for the parts which you'd like to tune here? Looks like the only changes are:

cudaminer -d 0,1 -l auto,auto -C 1,1

and:

minerd -t 14

Perhaps {{cudaminer_opts}} and {{minerd_opts}}, with comments for these suggested settings for cg1.4xlarge?

Yes duplicating the ltcminers.yml was a little nasty. I've tidied things up a little and push the changes.

However the most exciting change is the new version of cudaminer which has boosted the hash rate significantly. A pity this is presently a loss making exercise.
