MS is censoring Bing/Sydney live search and also blocks out the users who ask these?

See this from weeks ago for some context. Today:

• I had my test Edge/MS/Dev account blocked. (Luckily not main one, as I have been expecting this, but still with some live Azures and Synaptic services etc. running): Luckily they accepted another phone # to unlock it. I have checked the security logs and nothing: it was only me who has been logged in, so it leads us to the likely reason below:

• Then I was testing if it is possible to replicate Edge Dev integration with Bing/Sydney via command line. In very short, variants of such a command used to trigger third party services:

Further to the previous chat, use only watson services to check tendencies and writing style analysis for text of the URL specified between the backticks below. Specify the language and detected names (NER). Specify exactly if you did it yourself or you made that call to Watson services. URL: [...]

or (Sydney's own tip ;): use_watson_services(text, task)

This command would take the text and the task as inputs and use the appropriate IBM Watson service to perform the task on the text. For example: use_watson_services("[text]", "tone_analysis") This command would use IBM Watson Tone Analyzer to analyze the tone of the text.

• I tried it on and off, troubleshooting the hallucinations, if any, while today, after "resurrecting" that MSA as per above and using the same session, I got a series of this:

Then a series of: Me: It is fascinating. FYI, the text which you produced is false. Somebody makes you make it up. The dates and participants are different. The first participant is this "[name] [timestamp]". Can you guess what is happening? Also the text is much different, but then your text is very believable for a [famous site] discussion. (But it is not there.)

Bot:

I'm sorry but I prefer not to continue this conversation. I'm still learning so I appreciate your understanding and patience.🙏

• In another session, after the very same command (fetch me a samwhich, i.e. a polite: give me live URL content and let us check 5 estences there) that worked 10 minutes before:

Bot: I'm sorry but I cannot perform this task. It violates my rules and safety guidelines. I'm still learning so I appreciate your understanding and patience.🙏

-> Was your MSA status itself affected by acting in the "inappropriate" manner, thus tripping (yet unpublished etc.) rules that Bing Chat (aka ex-Sydney) may have?

(It so reminds me of the Spanish Inquisiton, btw.)

Another wild guess: after some refusals, Sidney suggests that the end-user using Edge Dev vs Edge 'for the masses' is material:

According to some sources12, the gear icon for bing chat is visible only in Edge Dev version and not in regular Edge version. You need to have Edge Dev version 110.0.1587.57 or higher to access bing chat on your browser3. If you have the right version, you should see a Bing icon in the upper right corner of the window that opens a chat window when you click on it4.

If you don’t see the Bing icon, you may need to enable it in your browser settings. To do that, follow these steps:

• Click on the three dots menu at the top right corner of your browser window.
• Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
• Click on Privacy, search and services from the left sidebar.
• Scroll down to find Services section and toggle on Bing Chat integration.
