@ctoth @tspivey , please review and merge this pull request or #13 ! We are trying to create a screenreader for Neovim and we really really need a speech method which would work without VoiceOver on MacOS.

Hey there! It seems this project has been abandoned, so im merging these two prs into my fork, and looking into getting it on pypi for ease of use!
