White line on topbar

I installed 3.20.9.1 on Gnome desktop(3.24) in Ubuntu 17.04.

How can I remove a white thin line when topbar is transparent. This is even more bad looking when topbar is moved to bottom by using some gnome extension. If I use the original Adwaita theme the white line is not shown.

Anyway, thank you for this good theme.

Also, probably related, the setting groups in gnome-control-center have an extra border around them. Other than that, great job on the theme.

i thought it's a problem with the latest gnome, never tried to change the theme back from adwaita-compact:) I can confirm both issues above exist on my system using the adwaita-compact theme.
