Settings - Save File Postfix not working

(Issue migrated from Gitlab: Internal link) In Mac Catalina & Big Sur the "Save File Postfix" is not saved. Instead it is always reset to the default value "_signed". Perhaps this feature needs additional permissions under MacOS.
