in blender 2.90.1 latest octane build latest mega scans even after removing the official plugins the objects still import with cycles materials after removing the OC helper addon the issue persisted even though i have no quixel addons i am not sure what to do now

i re installed blender and the addon and uninstalled quixel and re installed it the material is made just fine but when i enable the render mode octane crashes

Lol. Sounds painful. Sorry for the inconvenience. Some users encountered the same issue due to many reasons and I cannot identify a specific reason without touching their computers. However, the new Octane Helper is on the way, which is an individual application(cross-platform). The new Octane Helper automatically scans OctaneLiveDB, Megascans folder and put all models/textures/materials together in a Library GUI, which can avoid conflicts with the official quixel addon or something. The only thing you need to do is to download assets from Bridge and import them from Octane Helper App in the future. Please wait for a few weeks Thank you again for your interests in my addon
