Ok so here is my proposition:

  • keep only one branch: master
  • use tags when you want to do a release
  • always keep the version in sync with what you have in files
  • run tests on each commit

Like I said in the PR, Pypi doesn't support reuploading the same files anymore and I think we can trust them to do things correctly.
