Swiping not working on "desktop" touch devices

Anyone else encountered this issue? And maybe have a solution? On desktop computers or laptops with touch screens, swiping to rotate the carousel does not appear to be working. (Clicking and dragging using the mouse is fine, swiping using touch doesn't work).
