Can't close tab when using remote drive

When using Winmerge in a remote desktop and comparing local folder and mapped drive folder (mounted with the remote desktop), I cannot close a tab, and cannot close Winmerge, have to kill the trask.

When comparing folders that contain a small number of files and small file sizes, will the same phenomenon occur?

No, I just tested with a folder that has 3 files and it works.
