Any update on this? I'm game to help out in trying to write a rudimentary one, though it is a pretty beastly format and I've never written an imhex pattern before. Has anyone else been working on such a thing?

I looked into translating 010 template for pdf to a pattern and a major obstacle was the pattern language lack of regular expression string search function.
