play store is not installing/ WSA is closing it self after loading

I did everything... dev mode, ssh commands, etc... but playstore didn't install, and WSA starter is closing itself after loading

am I the only one who does have this issue?

I'm seeing the same behavior If I try to open "files" in the WSA settings menu. I also see the following in the windows event log:

Googling the above I find a few indications that the above might be about graphics card incompatibilities (in significantly older versions of WSA), but I doubt that's it because I am currently running on quite vanilla intel integrated graphics.

Also note that I see the same behavior if I just try to apply the unpatched store image directly from the windows store...
