Google Play Movies will start but won't play movies

Open zantosh opened this issue 3 years ago • 2 comments

I got everything to work great, and apps are loading and working. I downloaded the Google TV app and when I try to play a movie in my library, it says it can't play it. Any idea why it says this and how to get it to play?

Thanks!

It is likely due to some sort of digital media rights restriction preventing devices that don't have certain certificates or licenses to play their movies.

Good news is that Google play movies are stored on YouTube. And YouTube supports Site Specific Applications that can instantly open you up to the "my movies section" only issue is the fullscreen mode might not go all the way full screen.
