Is there a way to add a different styling to the evernote output

Writing code in a markdown file and pushing it to evernote, the result is kind of ugly. Is there a way to change the output style. I just like the block code to have a border around it. I have tried modifying editor.py file but I don't know what I am doing. Is something like this possible?
