The thumbnail generation of benotes requires an installation of chromium-browser, which is not possible. ~~Therefore, storage permissions might not be needed anyway.~~ Uploading attachments works just fine without setting permissions, recently tested.

You should be able to use chromium-headless installed at /usr/lib64/chromium-browser/headless_shell, did you try that?

I did not, but it's on my list now. I'll report back - and potentially add a section to the guide - after testing. Thanks!
