I think it would be a good idea to publish on OperatorHub.io for a few different reasons:

• increase exposure and visibility of the project coming from the official K8s docs
• extra test coverage and scrutiny to ensure correct behaviour, as part of the publishing process
• keep up with the competition 🦍

Yeah - we probably can start looking at operatorhub eventually. I don't think we are that far off to be honest. We just need to bundle for OLM & submit to the hub.

Worth noting the difference between competition and us. Their operator is concerned with deployment. Ours is concerned with pure API Management. In this regard - we will eventually need a second operator to convert our Tyk Helm Chart into an operator. At the moment, helm chart is fine.
