Network Option to disable/redirect HTTP requests

Apps are able to send unsecure, unencrypted web requests. I think possible options for this would be to attempt to redirect all "http" requests to "https" requests or to block the request altogether. I realize this isn't tracker related but it is privacy and security related and would be a cool feature to include.
