asking for maintainers

Hi, I don't really get to this anymore. So I would like to add one of you in this little comminity as a maintainer. A maintainer for this github page and also for the npm package.

I am currently thinking about you: @Gravitonic @Huddo121 @net-tech @MichaelKapustey @curiousdannii

the Task is to

• make the package compatible with modern tooling
• help some people in the issues with issues (I think the noChildNodes is difficult to grasp for many users)
• make usefull but carefull additions to the lib. only allow features in that a outside lib could not solve by beeing outside. such es the getById feature that is able to parse only one element without parsing the entire xml doc.

I am also not sure about the right process find and pick the right person. should I setup a discord so we can have some chat? Or we can just do it within this issue,... please let me know your thoughts.

I'm happily using tXml, and was just wondering if I should fork it to correct #44, since it has been almost three years since your last touch. I would consider becoming a maintainer, but I'd want to get a walk-through over Zoom first.
