[Bug] Application unable to close properly on lower resolution displays
What version of WinBoat are you running?
0.8.7
Your Environment
Distro: Arch Linux
Winboat installed from AUR (winboat-bin/0.8.7)
Desktop: KDE Plasma
A 1366x768 display
Steps to Reproduce / Context
- Open the app
- Press the X in the top right to close the app
Logs
Irrelevant, as this is an Electron schema configuration issue
Expected Behavior
The app closes when its told to close
Current Behavior
The app pops up an error dialog saying it could not save the window position to the config because the window is shorter than 800 pixels:
The error dialog can be clicked around, allowing the user to keep using the app after its supposed to close. It is physically impossible to achieve 800 pixels of window height on this screen.
Possible Solution
Adjust the relevant schemas to have sensible minimal height and width values for a Linux device. Come on, some people are running their sleepers at 800x600!
