Is This Mod Dead?
No updates since a beta build back in June, and no responses to recent issue trackers. Should we be looking elsewhere for a weapon and armor enhancement for 1.12.2, or will this ever be updated?
Not yet. I plan on updating this soon. I've just been busy with college and working on other, bigger projects.
@Boolyman I'm not aware of any other mods that do this particular thing...are you? I noticed weapon rarities in one of the modpack series I watch on youtube and went looking for the mod that does it and wound up here. I'm working on a 1.12 pack atm, and would love to be able to add this, so hopefully we'll get a 1.12 version soonish. @TheXFactor117 Thank you for your work!
I’ve been busy with college and finals recently. In terms of modding, I’ve been working on a much bigger project but I think I’ll postpone that in order to update this. A lot of people seem to want it so I’m going to properly finish Levels 3 soon. Check recent commits for progress. It’ll probably be a few days before I’m able to work on it.
I know next to nothing about GitHub, so I apologize if I am doing something wrong in speaking here, but I just wanted to say what little I saw of this mod I thought was nice, and reminded me of a game called Pixel Dungeon. It uses a different system, but it has some pretty neat enchantments that could potentially work nicely here with some changes. I don't expect anything to come of this, since modding is a lot of work, but I felt like saying that I like what has been made so far, and if you want something to look into for a bit of inspiration for this or a similar future project, I felt I'd recommend one place to look.
Hopefully this isn't seen as an annoyance, just checking in to see if there's been any progress on this for 1.12?
Also, your link at the top of the Curseforge page for the Lost Eclipse mod is broken.
