Open ShikiSuen opened this issue 5 years ago • 3 comments

The official name of the app Steinberg Dorico 3.5

Proposed App Status Pending tests by Steinberg once their ordered productive M1 macs arrived at their workspace. (mac mini DTK is not supposed to do Rosetta 2 tests.)

Proposed App Category Digital Notation Workstation (Dynamic Music Score Typography with MIDI production capabilities.)

Additional context Some users in the thread mentioned above reported that Dorico runs well on their purchased Apple M1 Macs. Also, it appears that Rosetta 2 status can behave differently on Apple DTK model (mac mini with A12X).

Thanks for the App Request!

It looks like we may have to confirm Rosetta 2 compatibility ourselves.

Let's get a screenshot or a link to use as a source and we can move forward.

You can find a screenshot example on #176

@ThatGuySam You can get the free SE version here (a free Steinberg ID sign-up is required): https://new.steinberg.net/dorico/se/ The SE version and Elements & Pro version share the same executive binary.

P.S.: No USB dongle required since you can use soft-eLicenser. However, you are strongly suggested to register your soft-eLicenser to your Steinberg ID.
