A suggestion is to detect the game card and bring the title to the front of the home screen with an icon to indicate it is a game card.
When closing the suspended software, then going to create a new folder on the home screen, you get the image from when the software was suspended.
When in uLaunch setting and the switch is docked with the LAN adapter, it shows and "none (no connection)
For example, if you are in the homebrew app screen, opening one then clicking home should take you back to that screen.
