LibSQL is incredibly slow

Please answer the questions below, it helps us to track the issue.

1. Which driver are you using and version of it (Ex: PostgreSQL 10.0): LibSQL

2. Which TablePlus build number are you using (the number on the welcome screen, Ex: build 81): Version 5.9.6 (270)

3. The steps to reproduce this issue: Connect to a LibSQL database (I'm using Turso). All queries take 3-4 seconds to complete, everything feels very sluggish

Hi @Xexr, thank you for your feedback. However, I don't understand what you mean by the application being slow? It might be due to the connection to the Turso being slow, so the results might take more time.

Hi @sonswift, thanks for the reply.

When accessing a turso libsql database, tableplus is incredibly so to read and write data. The blue loading bar at the top of the screen takes seconds to process for each action.

I've tried other databases (mysql, postgres) and tableplus is super fast for those. I don't believe its my connection, I have Gbit fibre, a low latency connection to the db (sub 20ms) and no other connection type issues.

The recent update doesn't appear to have resolved this.

Please update the driver, TablePlus can not save row with vector column in Turso.
