2FA support?

Open onpaws opened this issue 7 years ago • 3 comments

Hey guys, This project is awesome, thanks for your efforts here.!

I was showing this to a colleague and the demo was going well, positive momentum when they realized what Streisand was doing. Then, the first question they asked was 'Does it work with 2FA?' and I had to swallow the momentum a bit :)

Was curious, I see @cpu already commented over here that there are currently no 2FA plans. Is that still the case?

I'm hardly an expert here and just curious. What would it take to build 2FA or MFA support? We've seen plenty of 2FA for web & mobile, and it occurs to me I've never used 2FA on a VPN... Do the BigCos use custom VPN clients for this kind of thing?

Thanks guys and keep up the good work here

Still the case AFAIK. PRs welcome.

The difficulty depends on the kind of 2FA; it also depends on the service you want to secure, as some have good hooks for external authentication, and others do not.

Which services and what kind of 2FA are you interested in?
