error NU1202 coming up while installing.

I installed StableSwarmUI for the first time yesterday. It worked fine. But today I had to do a startup repair and my laptop did a system restore, and since then I can't use it. I deleted StableSwarmUI folder, deleted .NET, it, and even python. But no matter what I do, each time I am opening install-windows.bat file, this error is coming up.

That's... new. I've never seen that, the error doesn't even make sense.

Best I can suggest is a full cleanup:

  • Delete swarm folder
  • Use the windows "installed apps" settings panel to remove all .NET versions
  • Full restart your PC
  • Then come back and run the swarm installer
  • ... maybe try prayer in between, given the whole brand new type of error

Did all of those. Even tried putting StableSwarmUI on different drive, but no luck.

Also, I don't think "installed apps" shows .NET installs. Although I did uninstall it via the uninstaller.

Upgrade to Linux.
