Specify TokenScript attribute refreshes (at least before transaction is confirmed/sent?)

Can we work out an agreement for how often or when values read from contracts should be refreshed?

Currently I have a refresh for all contract checks at startup, and then if the token is clicked on if the value is older than 5 minutes.

This isn’t really a very good system – certain features should always be checked before usage, specifically the ‘expiry’.
