If vim already uses the same debugger as VS code or Visual Studio or Pycharm then the work is already done, just choose the corresponding debugger and connect in vim. Do you know what debugger vim supports?

If it does not support any of those that this Slicer module already offers then that new debugger could be added to the Slicer module very sjmilarly to the others. We can help you with that if you want to work on it.
