We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Customer Experience team, working on analytics products that demonstrate the value of our services to the customers using them. You will help to refine and build our product features as a part of a cross-functional product team. Additionally you will be collaborating with more junior engineers to improve our overall execution practices.

What you’ll be doing:

Learning and growing your career by gaining expertise in Ruby on Rails, React, AWS, Datadog, and more. Building and optimizing data pipelines, scalable full-stack applications, and reusable UI components. Building on the foundation of a well-tested codebase to ensure it remains robust and scalable as our business rapidly grows. Working in a fast-paced Agile framework, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retros. Tackling unknowns, adapting to changing priorities, and experimenting rapidly to drive impactful results. What success looks like in this role:

Converts designs into secure, tested, maintainable code with minimal defects. Consistently applies best practices, including unit testing and secure data handling. Actively participates in planning, design, and problem-solving discussions. Communicates findings and progress clearly while building rapport with the team. Clarifies ambiguous requirements, updates timelines proactively, and adjusts based on feedback to improve outcomes. Delivers work independently within story scope and improves accuracy in timing estimates over time. Demonstrates understanding of the tech stack, seeks diverse perspectives, and progresses toward promotion readiness by taking on increasing responsibilities. Navigates production monitoring and troubleshooting tools, including Datadog, Sentry, and running automated tests. Adapts effectively to shifting priorities and works efficiently in a stakeholder-driven environment Launches experiments, tracks performance metrics, and iterates quickly to refine solutions Sets personal growth goals to upskill that are aligned with the career ladder. What we expect from you:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Up to 1 year of experience in software development (this could include internships, part-time work, or personal/academic projects). Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., React, Ruby on Rails, Java, etc.). Evidence of coding projects (e.g., GitHub, school projects, hackathons). Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve technical problems. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent context switching Comfortable moving fast and working through ambiguity - we are a small startup and are working on balancing the demands of business growth and platform reliability Strong teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to learn and adapt in a collaborative environment.
