Wrong SMS dates.

I have exported SMS messages from Signal and then switched to Simple SMS Messenger. However, I have random order in the thread list, due to sorting by exported time, not sent/received time.

What's interesting: stock (AOSP, outdated) messages app shows everything correctly, in correct order, with correct date/time.

Tried reexporting, clearing app cache and data (to trigger app's database initialization) and unfortunately nothing helped.

Still v5.16.2.

Same Problem on Android 13 (CalyxOS) App version 5.16.4

i have the same problem as well. exported from Simple SMS, imported on same app different phone, order all mixed up. android 12, v 5.16.6

I deleted all my SMS and MMS and imported from backup and the SMS and MMS are not in newest to oldest SMS and MMS and have the same date for all SMS and MMS.

In LineageOS messaging app it shows the SMS and MMS in newest to oldest order and correct date/time for all SMS and MMS.

LineageOS 19.1 official latest build v5.17.4

LineageOS 20 unofficial latest build Simple SMS Messenger 5.18.1
