Hello,

i get this error on a MACbook pro 2013 with Big Sur 11.7.9 , and i've been getting it since version 3.2.2. Now i have 3.2.5 installed since is the version provided by my university website, i tried to update to the latest 3.3.2 but then it won't open university test.

In not really giving me a lot of clues...

Obviously there's nothing that can be done with an outdated version. This issue is fixed in 3.3.2.

Tell them that version 3.2.5 cannot be used anymore and they MUST switch to 3.3.2.

Sorry I might have misread your remarks. Were you getting this error also with SEB 3.3.2?

In 3.3.2 there is better logging and the process name shouldn't be empty if that error occurs. If you can reproduce the error with 3.3.2, then please send the SEB log files.

Please check this https://github.com/SafeExamBrowser/seb-mac/issues/294#issuecomment-2031541765 for a workaround. Will attempt to fix it in the next release.

This should be fixed in SEB 3.3.3 for macOS. Please test and report if it works for you.
