This appears to be reproducible by giving yourself the default weapon and firing a shot. ~~It appears to be caused by Bullet_Trace referencing an invalid pointer.~~

This needs to be made fully client-side before it can be merged.

Settings `r_ignorehwgamma` to 1 appears to prevent the game from modifying the gamma (it appears to behave the same as it would in windowed mode).

`Any way I could help?` Unless you know how to, and are willing to reverse engineer and rewrite several hundred functions, there really isn't any way that you can help....
