With the arrival of the OLED C2 TVs comes webOS 7. Will the v2 exploit work, or do we need to wait for v3? Edit: spelling

I would assume that one would need to wait for v3, since v2 doesn't even work for the current generation of OLEDs.

Tried it on my LG 55QNED81 running webOS TV Version 7.2.0-32 (mullet-marine) and it reboots the display, but no confirmations appear.

tried to root with my c2 on webos 7.1.0 firmware 3.11.10 and does nothing. have to use developer mode and not update the tv for time being. downgrading wont work either, since it only goes down to 3.10.38

Good idea. I'll turn off updates for now but I'll keep it open in case the devs have anything to say
